Camping experiences are an extremely valuable part of school. We have a staged camping program to ensure that students are gradually prepared for spending days and nights away from home. Our Prep-2 students have an after school activity evening. Preps stay for afternoon tea, Grade Ones stay for dinner, and Grade Twos have a sleepover at school. This transition helps prepare our youngest students for their first adventure and city camps.
Students in Grades 3-6 participate in a camp each year. We aim to vary their experiences by alternating between adventure camps and city camps, all of which enhance the curriculum. Of course, camps are about stepping out of your comfort zone, making new connections with peers, learning about the big wide world and having FUN!
